The DEK Connection Kit is used for terminating all versions of DSR-PFP & DSR-RGS heater cables end. The kit contains materials for three end seal terminations.

Finish your heating cable installation with a clean, durable end termination using this End Seal Kit. It uses a two-layer Ø12 heat-shrink sealing method where the inner tube is shrunk until glue flows out for sealing, then a second outer tube is applied with a minimum 1 cm (0.4 in) overlap for added protection. Designed for heating cable end sealing, this kit supports systems up to 240V and 30A, with a maximum continuous exposure temperature of 85°C.

Installation Summary

  1. Trim cable and remove 1 cm (0.4 in) of outer jacket.

  2. Remove braiding; slide on Ø12 (5cm/2in) tube.

  3. Heat until glue comes out, then clamp the top.

  4. Slide on Ø12 (7cm/2.75in) tube and ensure ≥1 cm overlap; repeat heat + clamp.

  5. Finish to the shown sealed tip (reference: 3mm–5mm).
